Sigma AF 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN Contemporary For Canon RF

The Sigma AF 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN Contemporary For Canon RF Lens makes an excellent addition for any Canon R system users looking for an ultra-wide-angle lens. Its constant f2.8 aperture ensures fantastic low-light capabilities as well as stunning subject separation and bokeh throughout the focal range.

A World Best in Size and Weight

The Sigma AF 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN | C Lens for the Canon RF Mount is the world’s smallest and lightest ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for APS-C cameras*. A lens of this focal length is expected to be small and lightweight, however, this goes beyond expectations, especially for a constant f2.8 aperture lens. It weighs only 270g and measures just 62mm in length making it perfect for an ultra-portable all-day video set-up.

*As an AF f2.8 zoom lens for mirrorless cameras with an APS-C sensor. As of October 2023.

Exceptionally Contemporary Image Quality

The Sigma 10-18mm f2.8 DC DN delivers excellent performance and high image quality to the Canon RF Mount system. A control algorithm including AF drive and communication speed optimisation has been specifically developed for Canon RF Mount interchangeable cameras to ensure the lens can match Canon’s fast autofocus capabilities.

In addition, the lens also supports Servo AF and in-camera aberration correction (on supported cameras) and the mount is rubber-sealed creating a dust and splash-resistant structure.

Wide f2.8 Contant Aperture

Sharp across the frame at all apertures, the construction of this lens with a fast and bright f2.8 aperture allows for greater results in low-light situations and delivers outstanding bokeh and depth-of-field shots.

Who Is It For?

A 10-18mm focal range is ideal for a great variety of photography including landscapes, travel, interior and street photography. The fast f2.8 aperture also makes it impressive for video and could easily be used for content creation.

Lily S. ★★★★★

Just got back from a trip where I shot handheld in tight markets all day, and the weight of this lens was honestly the standout—it's small enough that I never hesitated to bring it along. The f2.8 held up beautifully in low indoor light, and the ultra-wide range made every cramped corner feel like a

Julian H. ★★★★★

The f2.8 aperture at this size is what sold me—I can shoot indoors at night without bumping ISO into the noise zone, and it’s still small enough to keep the camera on a strap all day. Autofocus locks fast on my RF body, and the zoom ring has just the right resistance.

Emma ★★★★★

Finally a lightweight ultra-wide that doesn't break my back on long hikes, and the constant f2.8 aperture means I never have to worry about shutter speed dropping in low light. The autofocus is snappy enough for street photography, though I wish the zoom ring had a bit more resistance.
