The RF 20mm f1.4L is designed specifically to keep up with the demands of professional creators. It is the same size and shape as the other lenses currently in the VCM range to make switching focal ranges a quicker and simpler process, particularly when using gimbals and video rigs.

At 20mm, this is currently the widest hybrid lens available from Canon*. The dynamic 94º diagonal angle of view makes it perfect for astrophotography, expansive landscapes and dynamic architectural content. Combined with the bright f1.4 11-blade aperture and close focus distance of 0.2 metres, this lens can truly capture everything in front of the camera.

The Voice Coil Motor (VCM) is a fast, reactive focusing mechanism that responds quickly to spontaneous movements within the frame to ensure focus is never lost during the filming process.
