Design and Build
The RF 28mm F2.8 STM lens is super compact and lightweight, weighing in at a mere 120g and measuring just 24.7mm in length, making it a perfect lens for travel. The lens has been constructed from 8 elements in 6 groups, including 3 Pmo lens elements, and has a 55mm filter thread. It also features a Super Spectra coating for reduced flare and higher contrast.
A Vloggers Dream
The RF 28mm F2.8 STM is an inexpensive and budget-friendly lens that is ideal for full-frame Canon mirrorless users looking for a lens to capture pin-sharp video when filming themselves. The 28mm focal length* offers a wide field of view when filming yourself from a short distance, allowing you to get everything in the frame. This is further aided by the STM focus motor that provides near-silent AF, so you’re unlikely to hear any focus hunting sound whilst you’re filming.
