Canon RF 16mm f2.8 STM Lens
The new RF 16mm F2.8 STM from Canon is an ultra-wide-angle lens that meets the growing demand for super-lightweight and portable lenses that are great for vloggers and travel photographers.
Versatile, ultra-wide-angle
The 16mm focal length offers photographers the opportunity to capture sweeping landscapes through to incredible architecture whilst also offering an easy-to-use angle for vloggers.
Advanced Performance
A prime lens from Canon will always provide exceptional image quality over the likes of a zoom lens. The Canon RF 16mm f/2.8 is no different, the design utilises one aspherical lens which vastly improves the image quality without adding any additional weight to the lens itself. Keeping you light and mobile when documenting your travels.
Value for Vloggers
An inexpensive and budget-friendly lens, the RF 16mm is ideal for full-frame sensor Canon mirrorless users that are looking for a lens to not only capture stills in incredible detail but to capture pin-sharp video when filming yourself.
The 16mm focal length provides a great wide field of view when filming yourself from a short distance, meaning you can capture yourself in the frame even when using your arm as a tripod.
The STM focus motor ensures a near-silent AF, so you’re unlikely to hear any focus hunting sound whilst you’re filming.
Electronic Fous Ring
Quickly and conveniently obtain focus whilst on the move thanks to an intuitive electronic focus ring. This enables the photographer to quickly and acutely adjust the focus on the subject, nailing the tack-sharp image every time.
Super Lightweight
Weighing in at just 165g, the 15mm RF mount lens from Canon almost goes unnoticed when mounted to the end of your Canon mirrorless camera.
Classic Canon Professional Build
Nothing short of what you’d expect, the Canon RF 16mm F2.8 STM lens is built to withstand a professional level of usage. Sturdy, strong and robust, the 16mm lens is designed to go with you on your travels, whether that be in the studio or out exploring the world.
Exceptional Low-light Performance
The super-fast F2.8 and super-wide aperture is great for working in low-light situations. Allowing photographers to take advantage of the Canon mirrorless camera’s high working ISO ranges and keeping noise in your images to a minimum.
