Panasonic 14-140mm f3.5-5.6 II Lumix G PAN-HFS14140EK

A truly versatile all-in-one zoom, the matte black Panasonic 14-140mm f3.5-5.6 II Lumix G PAN-HFS14140EK Lens from is designed for Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and provides a 28-280mm equivalent focal length range.

POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization) benefits this expansive wide-to-tele zoom range by compensating for camera shake for sharper handheld shooting. The lens construction incorporates three aspherical elements and a pair of extra-low dispersion elements to minimize chromatic aberrations and distortions for greater image sharpness and clarity. Multi-coatings have also been applied to individual elements to reduce lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and colour fidelity in harsh lighting conditions.

Complementing the imaging capabilities, this lens also features a stepping motor for fast and quiet autofocus performance that benefits both stills and movie shooting. An inner focusing design maintains the overall lens length during operation and also quickens focusing speeds.

Violet S. ★★★★★

I was initially worried about image quality with a 10x zoom, but the autofocus is snappy and the sharpness at the wide end surprised me.

Charlotte Q. ★★★★★

The zoom range is the real selling point here, I barely switched lenses all day shooting from wide street scenes to distant birds. It’s heavier than my prime, but the image stabilisation made handheld shots at the long end surprisingly sharp.

Madison ★★★★★

Took this on a weekend trip and never swapped lenses once — the 14-140mm range handled everything from street shots to a distant lighthouse without a hitch. Autofocus is quick and silent, and the whole thing balances nicely on my camera body. A bit dark at the long end in late afternoon, but that’s
