Sofia Y. ★★★★★

I've been using this lens for about a week now, and the 35mm equivalent range of 300-1200mm is absolutely incredible for getting close-up shots of birds without disturbing them. The image stabilization works wonders even at the longest zoom, which was a pleasant surprise.

Benjamin ★★★★☆

The extra reach to 1200mm equivalent is a game-changer for getting detailed bird shots, though I wish the maximum aperture didn't drop so quickly. It's not the lightest lens around, but the image stabilization keeps handheld shots surprisingly steady.

Eli ★★★★☆

I was worried about the weight, but the built-in image stabilization handles hand shake so well that I got sharp shots of a kingfisher at 600mm. My only minor complaint is the zoom ring is a bit stiff right out of the box.
