Sony 2x Teleconverter

I’ve been shooting birds at the local park and this teleconverter lets me get crisp, detailed shots without any noticeable lag in autofocus. The optics are sharp enough that I can crop in later and still see feather textures clearly.

I was worried about losing image quality with a teleconverter, but the optics on this thing are incredible—even wide open at f/8 my shots stay razor-sharp.

The autofocus is just as snappy with this on as without, which surprised me. I’ve been shooting birds at f/8 and the G Master glass still delivers that crisp, contrasty look I paid for.
