The Leica DG Vario-Elmar 100-400mm Mark II has a lens construction of 20 elements in 13 groups including 1 aspherical ED lens, 1 UED lens and 3 ED Lenses. This allows you to capture high-resolution images with high contrast from corner to corner.

A circular aperture diaphragm made up of 9 diaphragm blades produces an attractively smooth defocus effect in out-of-focus areas when shooting at larger aperture settings. Perfect for taking creative photos across this aperture range.
