Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 50-250mm f4.5-6.3 VR Lens

The 50-250mm lens is designed to give you extended reach without adding significant weight to your kit. With a 35mm equivalent focal range of 75-375mm and a quick focus system that lets it keep up with the Z50 II’s Hybrid-AF, this lens is well-suited for action-oriented photography such as sports or wildlife. In addition to long-distance shots, the lens can also capture close-up subjects, thanks to its 0.5m close focus feature.

Silent control rings for key functions like manual focus, aperture control, and exposure control allow the lens to work well in crowded or quiet environments. This makes it well-suited for indoor sports photography and discreet outdoor shooting of alert wildlife.

Nikon NIKKOR Z DX 16-50mm f3.5-6.3 VR Lens

The 16-50mm has a compact design that can be stored at a pancake-style lens size for easy portability. When extended, the lens reaches a 35mm equivalent focal length of 24-75mm with an aperture range of f3.5-6.3. This, combined with the VR (vibration reduction) system built into the lens, makes for a very versatile lens. When working in a crowded environment, or somewhere needing quiet operation, the 16-50mm lens also features silent control rings for key functions including manual focus, aperture control and exposure control; perfect for street and wedding photography.

Avery H. ★★★★★

The 50-250mm lens is surprisingly sharp for a kit zoom—I’ve gotten crisp wildlife shots from across a park without carrying a heavy bag. The body’s autofocus locks onto moving subjects fast enough that I stopped checking my shots mid-burst, and the dual-lens combo feels like a complete travel setup.

Chloe ★★★★★

The autofocus locks onto my dog mid-run so fast I stopped bothering with manual mode entirely, and swapping between the two lenses covers everything from close-ups to far-off birds without missing a beat. Battery life got me through a full afternoon hike with plenty of shots to spare, which surprise

Brian ★★★★★

The dual lens kit is perfect for travel; I barely notice the body in my bag, and switching between wide and telephoto shots is seamless. Autofocus locks onto my dog instantly even in low evening light, which is what I needed most.
