Iconic – it’s in the family
Just like the Z fc mirrorless camera, the Nikon Z 28mm f2.8 SE Lens is all about original design details from back then, and cutting-edge performance for today. Day or night. Indoors or out. Stills or video. You get sharp, richly detailed images and a head-turning style.

Classic look
The fonts used for the Nikon Z 28mm f2.8 SE Lens name match those used on AI Nikkor lenses from the era of SLR film photography.

Classic feel
Faithfully recreated from original blueprints, the texture of the control rings recalls the feel of Nikon’s legendary SLR lenses.

Softly blurred backgrounds
Photos or movies. Vlogs or live streams. This lens lets you put your subject in sharp focus against a beautifully blurred background. The wide Z mount and f/2.8 rounded 7-blade aperture give you incredibly creamy, rounded bokeh.

Dynamic close-ups
From stylish food photography to bold portraits, this lens is stunningly sharp, even when focusing at close range. A minimum focus distance of just 0.19 m lets you shoot with the camera just 19 cm away from your subject.

Fast, silent autofocus
The Nikon Z multi-focusing system is fast, smooth, accurate, and quiet. Aberrations are drastically reduced, which helps your lens find focus quickly—even when shooting at close range. The silence is ideal when shooting video.

Captivating video
Paired with your Z fc mirrorless camera, this small prime lens lets you create great-looking movie clips and video content. You’ll get incredible sharpness and beautiful depth of field, and you can change focus without affecting angle of view. Plus, this lens is so lightweight it’s easy to use when shooting handheld or with a gimbal.

Small
This unobtrusive lens is a thrill to shoot with and easily small enough to keep on the camera. Be ready for every fleeting look and must-film moment.

Adaptable
The Nikon Z 28mm f2.8 SE Lens is easy to use in any situation and always discreet. Set the silent control ring to control focus, aperture, exposure compensation, or ISO.

Protected
Offering dust and drip-resistant performance, this lens is as ready for candid family portraits on the beach as it is for shooting the streets on rainy days.
