Every focal length tells a story

Sweeping landscapes, impressive architecture, lively street photography, captivating portraits—and so much more. The superbly flexible 24-120mm focal-length range frees you to take in all the angles without changing lenses.

More to shoot with, less to carry

The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens is beautifully portable for a zoom lens with such a broad range. Stay in one spot or move around freely as you frame your shot. With a zoom lens this compact and versatile, you have choices.

Wherever you may roam

With its solid build, this high-performance lens has your back on just about any journey. It’s sealed to protect from dust and drips, and Nikon’s Fluorine coating on the front element repels dirt and easily wipes clean.¹

Exceptional image quality

With a lens this capable, you’re free to seek out the shots others aren’t taking. Boldly shoot directly into harsh light sources. Nail dramatic backlit scenes. Set your subject apart with soft, creamy bokeh. The Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4 S opens up your options by capturing astoundingly sharp images with captivating resolution—all the way to the edges of the frame.

Consistency throughout the zoom range

Stills or movies, the constant f/4 maximum aperture allows superb creative control. Capture portraits and close-ups with greater depth of field across the zoom range. Change focal lengths without changing exposure when shooting movies.

Clarity that transports you

Nikon’s ARNEO Coat and Nano Crystal Coat keep images clear by combatting ghosting and flare caused by incidental light coming from any direction. You’ll nail beautiful images even if shooting scenes with direct light sources in the frame.

Move closer

A short minimum focusing distance and 0.39 maximum reproduction ratio let you fill the frame with detail. Isolate subjects against wide backgrounds or experiment with compression: you can shoot as close as 0.35 m across the zoom range.

Superb video performance

The Nikon Z 24-120mm f/4 S Lens is a great video lens. Autofocus is smooth and silent with virtually no focus-shift or focus breathing. If you’re transitioning from interiors to exteriors, or between darker and lighter scenes, stable exposure control enables a natural shift in brightness for beautifully natural-looking footage.

Customisable control

Easily control shooting parameters right from the lens. You can use the silent control ring for settings like aperture, ISO, and exposure compensation. And you can assign favourite functions to the lens’ Fn button.

Multi-focusing system

The Z multi-focusing system uses two AF drive units precisely synchronised to deliver fast, accurate autofocusing and drastically reduce lens aberrations across the entire zoom range. You’ll capture sharp, clear images even up close.
