The Nikon Z 14-30mm f/4 S Lens is a full-frame ultra-wide-angle zoom lens that covers the 14mm to 30mm range of focal lengths with a constant maximum aperture of f/4 throughout the range. It’s the world’s first full-frame ultra-wide-angle lens to take 82mm filters without the need for bulky filter holders.

Small, durable, lightweight
A retractable lens mechanism ensures this full-frame ultra-wide-angle zoom lens takes up minimal space when not in use. Every movable part of the lens barrel is sealed to protect from dust and water droplets. A fluorine coating actively repels water, dust, and dirt without compromising image quality.

Immersive stills and movies
Exaggerate perspectives. Create intimate environmental portraits. The wide Nikon Z mount lets this lens capture more light across the entire frame. The ultra-wide zoom range and compact build makes this lens perfect for travelling.

Made for movies
Track from bright exterior to dim interior with ease. This lens’ multi-focusing system and constant f/4 aperture ensure exceptional low-light performance, and consistent exposure across the entire zoom range.

Always sharp
Advanced optical design. Faster communication between lens and camera. You get exceptional sharpness and minimal distortion across the zoom range.

Beautifully smooth
This lens’ multi-focusing system enables incredibly smooth, accurate focus pulling. Focus breathing is reduced, as is focus-shift while zooming.

Quiet AF
Whisper-quiet AF is achieved via a virtually silent stepping motor . Zoom is quiet, and the silent control ring lets you adjust aperture with no clicking sounds.

Vibration Reduction
This lens uses in-camera Vibration Reduction to let you shoot at shutter speeds up to five stops slower than otherwise possible.² Capture clearer photos as daylight fades, or film scenes without the unwanted effects of camera shake.

Beautifully accurate
Floating lens elements ensure precise focus at close distances. An electromagnetic diaphragm delivers precise exposures during high-speed bursts.

Customer Reviews (4.8 / 5 · 5 reviews)

Michael V. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about an f/4 ultra-wide, but the constant aperture performs beautifully even in low-light interiors. The 14mm range gives me stunning architectural shots without distortion.

Joshua ★★★★★

It collapses down so much smaller than I expected for an ultra-wide, which makes it a no-brainer to toss in my bag for hiking. The 14mm end is sharp corner-to-corner even wide open, and the zoom ring feels buttery smooth.

Riley E. ★★★★★

The constant f/4 aperture holds up well even when I’m shooting indoors or at dusk, and the 14mm end captures such a wide field of view without any distortion. I’ve been using it for landscapes and it’s incredibly sharp edge-to-edge, even wide open.
